Fed Ex bought by government...what if?

If Fed Ex was bought out by the government and they ran it for a couple of years but found it to be impractical because it's so efficient and decided to sell it back to someone in the private sector would they then be Ex Feds?

I'm not sure this works :

fed ex = ex fed - e = x fed
if
x = an unknown factor, thing or person
and
fed = government

Then fed ex would no longer even exist because the government would have lost it
making it
x fed
or
unknown (to the) government

or you could use the same formula using ex, but I don't think it's as fun.
ex = prefix Latin ex from, out of : free from : without
and
fed= government

then ex fed = out of government, free from government or without government

and of course the people who worked there would be

x feds as well as ex feds

because the government would have put them into witness protection, because we would want to hunt them down for loosing our packages.

Which would be lost in a mountain of classified rubbish in a vast black hole of a warehouse in the middle of the desert.....

If the goverment bought FedEx, they would not be able to sell it back because it would be so screwed up no one would want it. Can you imagine how many political appointees and ex-congressmen would be working for FedEx after one year?
