I love rock, and when i was younger, I thought i hated country.
But then I realized I knew just about every country classic...somehow, even though I had never "listened" to country music seriously.
As I got involved in music, I discovered that country is one of the root sources of rock music.

Round here, we play BOTH kinds of music. Country AND Western.
You gotta love Rock, man! There's this whole breed of Rock/Country music that's pretty good. Not all Country is hee-haw, I slept with my sister crap.

I have a problem with the twangy guitars and subject matter of country, though I know lots of people who love it. These days so much of country is pop-like that the lines are blurred. I'm into hard rock and metal.

i in my opinion locate u . s .-pop music (for the main section) to be suggestions-shriveling, and probably one reason rednecks are so freakin' stupid. The non-Nashville stuff would be each bit as solid as something obtainable, based on the lyrics, the music and the singer. yet rock has its roots in u . s . (alongside with human beings, jazz and the blues, as an occasion) and you will't deny that as quickly as you pay attention to previous rockabilly stuff from the late Fifties. u . s .-rock, at its terrific (think of of early Eagles songs) is unforgettable. "Desperado", all people? precisely. Musical appreciation is a solid thank you to spice your life.
