I waited until I was 30 & I am so glad I did. Even though I see people I graduated with who have kids already in high school, my kids are 2 & 4. I think I needed the time to mature & grow. Some people are mature at a young age but I definitely was not one of them. I partied my way through my twenties! ;)
I also had that time with my husband for just US! We were together 10 years before we had kids & now, I know why so many marriages suffer when kids come along! There's barely time to kiss at bedtime! You really do have to plan date nights - it's crazy! So, yes, I'm glad I waited, I wouldn't have it any other way :)

yes i do, i had my son at age 16 and i feel that i was way too young. i'm 23 now and it was very hard on me then and still is even now.i wish i would have waited until i was in my late twenties, maybe 28 or 29 because i never just got to be a kid myself and i find myself wanting to do it sometimes now and just give up. may sound terrible but it's true

I wanted kids early (twenties) but it didn't work that way. I had my 1st at 31. I wanted to be young enough to play with her and run around and all the fun things Mommy's do. Also, my mom was my age when she had me, and it seemed like she was the oldest mom at any function. I didn't want to be like that, but heaven had different plans for me. I'm just grateful to be able to say I'm a mom.
I do know that the longer you wait, the more problems you may have waiting for you, such as fertility issues or down syndrome. Not for everyone, but seems to be getting more common.

Had my two at 22 and 23. Its a trade off. Do you want your 'independence' when you're in your 20's or 40's. We opted for the latter and feel that its the better route.

Yes, I actually wish that I had waited until I was older (I was 19 when I had my first one). I would recommend to any woman to wait until she has earned her college degree before having kids.

i ought to go both way on that one..I walked into step little ones even as i replaced into 21..If iwas older, i'd were a extra responsible, extra valuable textual content e book type of figure..yet being a delicate figure, i replaced into likely extra relaxing..i ought to carry them both on my back as I climed up a mountain part, run alongside them as they discovered to experience motorcycles and rollerskate..waiting till you're "waiting" ability economic preparedness, yet i do not kno w that , that's the biggest element

Yes, I think I would have done a lot more "me" stuff and/or couple stuff before having children. As a parent, it is very difficult sometimes to find a trustworthy sitter at a moment's notice.
