How many people are sick and tired of war? Israel is wrong. Period. And I'm tired of everyone making excuses for them and patting them on the head. I want our people out of the middle east, let the middle east kill each other, and when the dust settles, the rest of the world can flip a coin for the land.

The real cause of the current violence in the Middle East over the past few days is NOT Hezbollah as George Bush keeps stupidly saying. Bush is giving a biased and self-serving pronouncement that carries not a grain of truth.The REAL cause is the Balfour Declaration of 1917..."His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people..." Thus began the string of events that led to the influx of great numbers of Russian and European jews into Palestine, and from this came the roots of the current crisis. THIS is the real cause of today's violence, not Hezbollah. Hezbollah is a manifestion of the cause, but not the cause itself. Short-sighted politicians twist or omit history to serve their purposes, and this is what Bush has done. The president of Iran was thinking of the cause when he stated that Israel must be destroyed. It may very well be that Iran will the the tipping point in the 70-year conflict that will settle once and for all the problem of atrocities committed by the jews against the Palestinian people.

The reason the US went to war in Iraq was not because of supposed weapons of mass destruction; that was but a political excuse. The real reason was to remove Saddam Hussein as a potential threat to Israel. To have said that the US was going to war in Iraq in order to provide for Israeli security would NOT have gone over well at home, so Bush twisted it to say that Saddam Hussein was a threat to the security of the United States (read instead "Israel"). Now that threat has shifted to Iran, and unless George Bush can muster support for eliminating this new threat to Israel, Iran might be able to provide the momentum to solve the Middle East problem once and for all.

Israels problems belong to America as America is so financially invested in Israel. It is speculated Iraq has more oil than Saudi Arabia, bush and his cronies are out to make money for their friends. From Enron to Haliburton, to Blackwater, the Iraq War is about Oil and money. 9/11 was used as a pretext, and had nothing to do with Iraq. Let's hope the upcoming election will bring the world towards peace. The key mistake going into the Iraq war was the debathification which led to a huge insurgency of unemployed former soldiers of Saddam. Israel needs to give Palestinians respect and Nationhood. All those who like war raise your hands. No hands - hmmmm.
It isn't just about Israel! Although, if you lived over there, surrounded by people who wanted to annihilate you from the face of the earth, who blew up your wives, children, brothers and sisters who were only shopping or going out to a night club, you would have a different attitude. Radical Muslims are being the aggressors in India, Indonesia, Russia, France and even killing their own people if they refuse to live according to the most strict religious laws. If you can't see that is wrong there is no point in talking to you.

If you are sick and tired of war am I to assume that you bear no ill will toward the people who attacked new york in 2001,bombed the USS Cole, destroyed several u.s embassy's and wish for the U.S (the great Satan) to be utterly destroyed.
If Israel is wrong to defend itself isn't the u.s wrong to also defend itself?

you are wrong that this is all Israels fault. They left Gaza and were attacked, the left Lebanon 6 years ago, and were attacked. You get sick of someone wanting to destroy you after awhile and fight back.

I seriously hope they kill each and every Hezbollah fighter that is walking the face of the earth.

Can you tell I am fed up hearing " Death to America" too?

How is Israel wrong? They're constantly being bombarded with terrorist attacks. They have a right to defend themselves. Those people want Israel gone from the planet. Wherever Israel moves, the terrorist scum will follow and try to kill them. It's not about land, it's about Israel's right to exist.
