If you like biographies, a must must read is " My experiments with truth", by Mahatma Gandhi.
Also, " Wings of Fire", a biography on Indian president APJ Abdul Kalaam is very inspiring and gripping.
Otherwise, " Albert Einstein, The Human Side" by Einstein himself throws a lot of picture into the man he was.
Good luck and happy reading.

Anything by Molly Ivins...Shrub, which discusses Bush as governor and Bushwacked. She's from Texas, was actually an associate of George. She doesn't dislike the man, just his policies. No conspiracy theories, just facts mixed in with some humor.
From Shrub:
"Bush's environmental record: Since Governor Bush's election, Texas air quality has been rated the worst in the nation, leading all fifty states in overall toxic releases, recognized carcinogens in the air, cancer risk, and ten other categories of pollutants."
From Bushwacked:
"In a little noted move, in the summer of 2001, the Bushies also dropped a Clinton initiative to go after international money laundering. This is the system of offshore banks used by Osama bin Laden and other terrorists, as well as by drug dealers, tax evaders, kleptomaniac dictators, nasty husbands, and American corporations. Clinton had committed us to working with the Organization for Economic Development (OECD), thirty of the world's strongest economies, to start putting pressure on the offshore banks. The Clinton administration pushed a tough bill that would have given law-enforcement authorities more legal tools to go after terrorist money, but Senator Phil Gramm of Texas killed it by refusing to let it come up for a vote in his committee. The Bushies then dropped the OECD effort at the urging of right-wing groups such as the Heritage Foundation and the Center for Freedom and Prosperity. Texas-border bankers, generous contributors to the Republican Party, were also opposed to going after the system that protects terrorists and drug dealers."

Oh, have I got a book for you. The name is Double-Cross, written by Sam Giancana's brother. Sam is the erstwhile chief hit-man for the mob. Chuck, his brother, completely spills the beans on the Kennedys.
It seems that Joe used Sam and the boys to get his son elected. Shortly thereafter, he sicked Bobby on the mob to obfuscate any ties. This was a bit much for Sam and the boys, and they soon orchestrated the two most horrific assassinations in modern history.
The book is very matter-of-fact, and checks out historically and factually. This pulled together a lot of pieces to the puzzle for me.

New Rules : Polite Musings From A Timid Observer
by Bill Maher
"With such polite, timid musings on George W. Bush as 'George Bush must stop saying he owes all his success to Laura. George Bush owes all his success to his daddy, his daddy’s friends, trust funds, legacy admissions, the National Guard, the Supreme Court, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, and A.A.'"
