No TV transmission yet available over broadband, but what you can do is, buy a Video Card for yous PC with digital/analog TV input and or a Dazzle *, so that you can see TV in the computer, record, manipulate images/video, etc.

Some websites offer paid streaming TV, open TV on the web should normally not provide anything interresting to watch because movies, series, sports are mostly licensed for a specific country (yes, broadcasters are still trying to shift to the 21st century).

You might look up something on p2p television which can be of varying quality and also of varying degrees of legality.

with difficulty!

not many channels are available via broadband yet.

The bbc did stream some football over the world cup and channel 4 are going to stream some content, but it's not everything yet.

Perhaps you should get cable?

The BBC has good sources and clips or I heard channelchooser.com works. Or get one with a TV Tuner or a TV tuner plug-in that goes in your USB.
