Same as when you have a child...6-8 weeks, you need to go in for a check up with your doctor just like you would after you have a child...-sighs- And really you should wait the ENTIRE 8 weeks to make sure that your body is healed and everything is okay....

You should wake two weeks. I had a D&C done a few years ago, and I was told by my doctor to wait two weeks before intercourse. Also when you are checking out of the hospital the nurse will usually give you a document with instruction of what to do, and not do, and on that document it states to not have sex for 2 weeks.

The Dr.s tell you to wait 2-3 weeks. Didn't they tell you after the D&C?

sorry to hear that i just had one to on june 9th my doctor told me to wait a month but when u ready you can.

Girl your thinking about sex and you just had a D&C. I'd give it a while.....6 weeks-8weeks
