The results are NOT going to be immediate. If you make drinking a lot of water a habit soon it will stop seeming like a chore that must be completed every day. Remember: lots of water is not only good for clearing acne, its good for you whole boday. You will probably start seeing results in a couple of months.

I know many people that have gone through this. Detoxification takes a little while, depending on the severity of your acne. You should notice a difference in about a week. Try drinking at least 2 glasses of cranberry juice a day, too. It's fantastic for detoxing your system. Please keep in mind that the foods you eat have nothing to do with this, either. I am going to assume you are washing your face lots, too. Make sure you don't pick at them, no matter how tempting.Don't wash your face more than 2 times a day, as this will really dry the good skin up. If you are using hydrating cream on your face, make sure it has NO perfumes in it, it will cause more of a breakout. One more piece of advice, darlin', remember that caffeine is a diuretic. This means it will dehydrate you. No coffee, pop or chocolate will help you. You will probably have to drink an obscene amount of water for the next few months to help heal your skin. All true results take a long time. If I were you, though, I'd rather be making sloshing sounds when I walked, than having to deal with little red-spotted invaders. Drinking all this water WILL be difficult to maintain, but if you want any tips on how to remember to make yourself drink it each and every day, give me an email. I have a few good ideas. I am glad you decided to do this naturally, I think you will really enjoy the results!! Good luck, honey:)

Drinking water alone won't help. Diet change can also help. The foods you eat also contribute to how your skin looks.
You will also need a skin care regimen that includes cleansing often to remove the surface dirt and oils which causes the breakouts.
You should see improvements in about a week.

Well water helps but not dramatically for your skin,i would strongly suggest new skin care products.A very nice brand that is not too expensive is Origins, they have a starter kit that would last a couple months and its only $20 or you could use nice drug store products.I would suggest also to take vitamins and get a skin care little hand book.

drinking water is great. it may not take away all of your acne but it helps with dryness. it takes awhile to see a change. what are you using to cleanse with? it's an important factor.
