how can i keep my room clean for like a week

If you stand and look at the room when it is a mess, what is wrong? Where does it belong? That's where you start! Now clean it! The secret to keeping it clean is, When you take your clothes off, put them in a basket, if you eat in your room, DON'T, anything that you do that causes clutter, put it away as you go, do you have a computer in your room? Clean before you do Yahoo Answers so you are not leaving stuff lay around and not picking up, your reward is doing Yahoo Answers in a clean room and get a waste basket for you printer paper...... It's tough, I have to make myself pick things up too, it is probably just junk you don't think will pile up. One more thing, if you haven't touched it or looked at it for a long time and it isn't sentimental (be careful), toss it in the trash!!!!!!!

This is sad. Just keep it clean.
Maybe try getting a big box and just throw all the crap in there that you would throw on the floor. Don't take anything into your room. Designate a place for everything. Get rid of some old ****. Come on! How hard is this?

get rid of stuff you don't need. put everything in its place. buy containers to organize all your stuff. use your walls to store things... (books, mags, etc.) and after you're done using something either put it in the garbage or put it back where you got it from. you'll have your room clean for life!

You will have to pick it up everyday. Don't leave clothes lying around, put things in trash when they are ready to be thrown away, take dishes to the kitchen etc.

discipline yourself...for 15 mins. a day!
make your bed when you get up!
put the clothes where they belong-
bring out the cups & dishes & trash
