I know you can double major, or you can major and minor, but what about 2 majors and a minor?
thanks

You can have as many majors as you can pay or as long as you want to be in college. There was one guy at UW-Milwaukee who was an undergrad for over 10 years, and had over 300 credit hours and 15 majors and probably as many minors. And he still didn't want to graduate until the college raised the tuition on him and his parents wouldn't pay for it anymore.

You can (I most likely will), but in order to do it you will take very few electives and will most likely need an extra semester, AP/transfer credits, and/or to overload for a few semesters. You also have to know really soon (like your freshman year) that you want to do it so you can plan. Finally, it helps if your majors/minors are similar so there will be an overlap. I will be a Politics and Sociology major with a pre-law minor, which are all similar and I will graduate on time. My friend is a Biology and Philosophy major with a Politics minor and he will graduate on time only because of AP credits and careful planning.

If you can squeeze in the hours for both, I don't see why not. If you can get some classes to count for one of the majors and the minor, it shouldn't be too hard. You will have to complete ALL requirements for all programs, which means you may have to have more than the "typical" number of hours for a degree.

Your school, however, may have differing rules about how much you can do. Check with the Registrar's Office or Admissions Office.
