Wow, that's tough. I'll have to vote for the Beatles, since they have such a large library of music. I heard that at one point, they were writing 15 songs a day.

I love Stevie Wonder, however. I just bought "The Definitive Collection" and it's amazing.

Some of Elton John's stuff is fantastic, but some of it I don't care for.

The Beatles were the greatest, hands down.

It depends in what context; they are all musical geniuses who's musical contributions will transcend time. In my humble opinion, they are all great songwriters.

Stevie wonder is Motown singer who plays the piano/keyboards, synthesizer, harmonica, congas, drums, bass guitar. Elton John is pop/rock singer, composer and pianist. The Beatles were an English Rock 'n' Roll group. they also continue to be held in the very highest regard for their artistic achievements, their huge commercial success, and their ground-breaking role in the history of popular music.

Lennon / McCarthy
Followed by George Harrison

Elton John only writes the music to his songs, not the lyrics so I wouldn't call him a songwriter. Did you know that no one gave him the time of day until he hired a lyricist? True story.

john Lennon-Elton-the traitor-Stevie. the best lyrics that Elton sang wasn't his, i wonder if he wrote any. Lennon is the greatest and deepest. the traitor has been a pupil to the best, but still no mind but exciting musica, Stevie is not bad.
