Science by definition requires that information be able to be tested, and once tested, the results duplicated.

Astrology, and all other forms of religion for that matter, do not fall under the bailiwick of science. They are a matter of faith, which means that you believe something even though you can't test it, can't prove it, and can't even see it.

That does not, however, mean that you can't believe in both. Einstein's science was no more than a search for God.

Scientist do not believe that astrology and horoscopes have the ability to predict the future or anything else. And, should an event happen when it is predicted by the stars to happen, scientist view it as fluke.

My view, which I believe is in accord with scientific thinking, is that astrology and horoscopes are entirely bogus. The "thoery" behind them is jsut so much nonsense, ignoring the knowl laws of physics. They arise out of superstition. (I suppose you will say that this attidtude is typical of a Taurean!)

Don't most people see both as entertainment? Science usually wants things demonstrated, proven, then repeated. Astrology and horoscopes are too vague to do that, imho.

Do you think that maybe it could mean something, not everything, but something. As just one of many things that combine to make up our existence.
So many people are searching for the one big answer and maybe the big answer consists of many different components. Not unlike everything else in this universe.
So maybe we could say, our perception of it is a load of crap, however, it may not be a TOTAL load of crap.
