i have curled for the past six years, and i know its a great sport, i just wanted to know if anybody else enjoys it? (please NO rudeness or putting down the sport, its a hard sport, and when people fall they get hurt easily, you fall on ice, or a fourty pound granite stone... many people i know have had concussions from fallingplaying the sport, many broken arms, and a couple who were knocked unconsious)... so anyways, you wanted to know :)

Yes, I curl as well...have for the past 20 years. It is a sport of strategy, requiring concentration and many years of practice to get good at. I laugh when I see it on TV and hear people say, I could make that shot...right after Kevin Martin makes a double-raise triple takeout. Little do they know how difficult it is to make the shots at that level!

Yup! I'm 28, from Thunder Bay, ON, and have curled in a mens league for the past several years. I started in grade 4.

I used to play lead, but then moved up to 2nd because I like throwing the up weight.
Most of the time, my rocks ended up inside the house instead of in the free-guard zone, and the skipper didn't really like that..lol.

No, I have never curled. I used to live in Detroit, and I watched it quite a bit on Canadian television. I think it would be quite fun.
