hello! Ive got a question in the Womans Health section about my breasts. Im 28, never been pregnant, period due in next few days (the cycle is usually 28-35 days, got my coil out last July) have been trying for a baby, but we decided to stop because I was getting obsessed about not conceiving. And I was at the GP on Tuesday for blood tests as maybe have polycystic ovaries. Also waiting for an ultrasound scan for that.
Well today Ive been feeling really weepy and very nauseated. And for the first time in my life (I NEVER have sore boobs before a period) my breasts have been aching, feel heavy and hot - like on fire! Also my nipples are hypersensitive & VERY sore. In the shower the water felt like sandpaper. Theres no nipple discharge or any change in breast shape/size. Im just puzzled at the strange sensations! And its a bit annoying when I cant even touch my boobs! Even my top & bra hurts them.

Mmm, nipples look a bit different in colour. But the boobs themselves feel all lumpy.

Hey Claire, weepy, nauseated and soreness are some of the very first signs of pregnancy. They are also signs of PMS. If you have never felt this way before you may be PREGER! I know it is hard but I would wait at least another week before taking an HPT. If you get a negative and still have not started take another one in another week. Sometimes it is just too soon. A couple other questions you need to ask yourself is... Are your nipples darkening? Do your nipples have constant goose bumps? Those are two other signs of early pregnancy. Best of luck to you. Jenni

Two answers possible to this question. Either you are pregnant and having early symptoms.( Both my pregnancies I had sore boobs as first sign.) OR Your hormones are going haywire with the polycystic ovaries. Why not take a home pregnancy test to check if first answer correct. They very reliable.

Take a test sounds like you're pregnant, my boobs were so painful before I even thought I could be pregnant. Fingers crossed for you x

I hope you are pregnant. All the symptoms are of pregnancy. Just wait 1 more week and take a home pregnancy test. Best wishes
