Why do White people hate brown-skinned or dark ppl?

It's something I realized since I was 5yrs old at least. Living in another country. Being white Spanish but living with many other races I find no problem with people who respect and care for others. However I notice here in the USA, white people just pour in so much hatred against Mexicans, Blacks, or any other color that is not white. I find it astounding, being that the white man is to blame for the worst atrocities to humanity and its different races. It is white man that anhilated all of America's Native Indians. The White man who killed thousands in Mexico's Indian tribes too. It is the white man who fostered slavery from the Africans. It is the white leaders like Hitler that have THE NEED to eliminate the rest of the world of races.
In my opinion, human's skin color comes from the very environments they live in. Notice in Sweden in Winter's lack of sun, people are paper white. Oaxaca, Mexico where the Tropic of Cancer hits ppl are drk brown. YET COLOR MAKES ONE OR BREAKS ONE.

Right now the hatred against latins is unparalleled. Americans think that dark skin metaphors with ilegal, neglectful, abusive, agressive, criminal. In USA many ppl dont stop short verbalizing their hatred to anybody who is darker or holds the title of "Mexican" or other. Worse off Middle EAstern right now. I have never seen so much shooting online against everybody who is not white. Comments that make an educated and knowledgeable person fall back in shock. Ignorance is much to blame for the white's hatred, mislead and non travelled a person cannot make an accurate judgement on other countries citizens and how they really are. If its immigration that makes you hate ppl, YOU ALSO WERE IMMIGRANT TO NORTH AMERICA. For the original settlers were native Indians. PPl scream "Mexicans stink, I puke on them, they steal from us bla bla" and Mexicans work here so hard, they pay for everything that many whites dont bc they get wellfare. IF YOU THINK BEING WHITE IS A GIFT I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU.

FYI I have travelled the world over and have seen the same thing repeating itself. The fight tends to be whites on one side and other races on the other side.
I know not all white people hate other races. But majority nowadays of whites (maybe i should spell it for you, IN USA....) their hatred is rampant on the younger generations. If one of you do not hate other races do not take it personal. Be objective. I am a humanitarian so you dont get the wrong idea. I help I dont hate and I am trying to see how to address some issues with Americans who abhorr darker skinned people. Just get on yahoo posts and notice, your mouths will drop when you read what ppl write in there. It makes an entire country look shameful. Why? BC the entire world has access to what is written in America. GO ON, GET ON ANY YAHOO NEWS POST ABOUT POLITICS AND SEE THAT IMMIGRATION AND HATRED AGAINST OTHER RACES POURS IN even deviating from the news subject. Yes culture has much to do with it too.
That is why I think that Americans who hate other races need to travel and see that after all other races have their good things too. And many. I am not attacking Americans if you perceive it all this way. I am married to an American myself. Which I love, and he is not racist. Trully I have never in other countries heard so much racism as in this country right now. And its sad because I have been here many years and seen the changes. There is no tolerance here anymore. Not even in apartment communities, down to that. I hope some day we can all learn that its easier to hold hands than to cut them. That its easier to love than to hate.

Do you foster interracial exchanges, have friends who are Mexican? If you do, congratulations!

The facts may vary, pockets of caucasians may be here andthere doing lots of good, yet there are still many that srvive like the KKK I lived in Fallbrook, San Diego Cty where the KKK leader lives. The hatred was bountiful.

Wow. I find it interesting you had to add comments to your own question, to defend yourself. I am half black and half white. The product of love of two different nationalities more than 30 years ago. Why is it that a lot of people concentrate on the few that are still haters? There are millions of us that have worked together for many years. Why is it that I hear nothing of our accomplishments we've actually made together over the years? "Whites" is also a racial term. It is being used in the context of hatred. I think you should research a little more,hon. There are so many things in your statement that are categorized into hatred, white or not. Most of your comments are just wrong. Please don't speak for the rest of the "whites" as you don't know what the majority of us are feeling. And please don't speak for the "blacks" as you seem to know nothing of the history we are making right now. Many other races are combining power and resources each and every day to help this to be a better world. A lot of what you say incites hatred, whether you realize it or not, but the ignorance is dwindling more and more every day. Go get some books, educate yourself a little more, and maybe come back with a non-ignorant, educated question. I look forward to a REAL debate. It is not your fault, by the way. I'm white as they come my family comes from England and Poland. But this is the thing not all white people are that way. I have seen it happen both ways and that's with all races, you don't always see it unless your in that races shoes. Like my family (the ones from England) was apart of the underground rail road and help to save many people from the horrors of those days. My best friends are all different colors and i have never liked or cared for closed mind people that focus on race. But i know a few that are and they most often answer (what ever color they are) it's because of how they have been acted on. If people stopped doing things on this line the problem would end.

First of all not all white people hate darker people. Second, why do dark people hate white people? The answer is the same for both questions - because they are different. For the record Africans were the first people to sell other Africans into slavery. White men have brought tons of technological advances to the world - plumbing, concrete, printing press, the list goes on. Also, Hilter is not a good example of a typical white person. He was a crazy freak, who needed to be put down like a rabid dog. You are absolutely right, skin color is a product of environment. It is one of the miracles of life that the human body can adapt itself so well. I would like to see a time when people stop making so many generalizations about who hates who. How can I hate someone I don't even know?

Not every white person hates colored people. It just depends on how you were raised. If you were raised with parents that are race-ist. But if you were brought up to like them (or at least tolerate them), then you should be able to live with them. As for what you said, I didn't read it all. If a white person gets a tan, that's because he/she wants to make their skin into a olive tone. There's a big different between black and olive skin.. I don't think people are stupid enough to try to look like a ******.

Ignorance, plain and simple. I am a black male and I live in Birmingham, Alabama (a VERY RED state) and the level of ignorance in some of the people I work and go to school with is very astonishing. Its crazy some of the things that they can say without really thinking about it such as "I'm not racist, I own a colored T.V.".

thats a good question. That's just the world we live in. Everyone doesnt like everyone for whatever reason. I wish it were different. Racism doesnt get anyone anywhere. I am a white person and I don't hate people of color. You sound as if your racist toward people of lighter color skin so how does this make you different than anyone else?? People who are like that are just stupid and have been pumped full of worthless information. In my eyes everyone is equal there are sorry people of every color. If god only wanted one color he would have made us all have the same skin.
