Nope, I don't even eat the cookie. I usually just crack open the cracker and I've gotten same messages for quite a few times!

Yes. When my husband and I were dating (we were already talking marriage at the time), we were eating Chinese and my fortune cookie said "Stop looking. Everything you've ever wanted is right in front of you." And he is! :)

When my husband and I were dating, we ate at a Chinese restaurant. His cookie said, "You will soon ask a very important question." Mine said, "Accept the next proposal you receive." (No lie.) It was a few months before we actually got engaged, but now we've been married 21 years. Several years after we were married, I found out that he still carried that fortune in his wallet. I had saved mine in a small wooden keepsake box.

I've saved a few. My favorites are:
When you give something away, it makes room for something new.
The best times of your life have not yet been lived.
Don't let doubt and suspicion bar your progress.
Listen not to vain words of empty tongue.
And the worlds most profound: Trust him, but keep your eyes open!

I've saved many but my favorites are the inspirational ones that I added to my "Wall of Inspiration" in my classroom to inspire my students. They LOVE reading the fortunes!

Yes, one time I got an awesome message:
"Only a false step is made my standing still".
I taped it up on my computer, and is motivates me to go the gym more often!!
Also, I happened to get that same exact message a few years later....how freaky is that?

Yeap! I have 1of them on my fridge. Good words of wisdom helps when I'm down.
"Look around and you will find the greatest treasure of all, friendship." I know you suppose to say in bed so there.
I had another one but my kids threw it away.;(
