I think it like a rite of passage, it the first time normally in your life you feel almost grownup and not so much still a kid. Some teen it the first time they have a date and are excited about that. Or it the first time you get to pick out more adult looking formal clothes. I am Glad to see teens still get excited about things like this. Just remember to have ton of fun and enjoy yourself because it goes by fast. Hope it a great First Dance for you and your friends.

i dont get excited... i dont even care if i get a date... in fact i hope i dont get a date... me and my friends just dress casually and hang out aat the back of the room... we talk and play around with card and hairclips and stuff...
