Try either DVDdecrypter to dump the contents to your hard drive or DVD43 for on the fly decryption, meaning that your computer will have full access to the DVD as if it wasn't protected. Both are available here:

Noobs!!!!

DIVX, convert the DVD to a DIVX file on your drive, then watch it with media player or what ever you want. It shrinks the movie down to about 700meg which you can convert to a SVCD to watch on a DVD player that supports that format. DVD decrypthor is nice for copy DVD movies, but you still end up with huge files on your computer and it will not be seemless play.

If you can put the DVD in the drive and right click and explore the files on the DVD, there is no reason why you couldn't copy them to your hard drive. This does not take in to account any password protection, encryption, copyright infringement, etc., etc.

That sounds like a good idea, but it will not work, you need a dvd writer. copying the file to the local hard drive will not accomplish much, dvd is a special file format. dvd writters are not very expensive. good luck.

try dvd shrink or dvd decrypter. these will rip the movie from a DVD to your HD. Make sure you've got alot of HD space and a DVD player installed.

Ya you can copy in the same procedure as you do with CD's.
