Was it like a heavier period? What was the bleeding like? How did you feel?

Well hubby and I have been trying, and we thought we were. My period was a week late, and I was planning to test right after the week of it being late, but the next day I had bad cramping and started spotting. Now I'm having some more bleeding - which is heavier than my normal period and lots of blood clots as well. So I was just wondering if my period was just plain late or if I'm having a very early miscarriage (also termed as a chemical pregnancy when the fertilized egg does not develop and the pregnancy terminates).

it was just a really heavy period. i'd have to agree with the first person to answer. i was just really disapointed that, one more month of trying and nothing happened. it passes, now i don't get too excited about a late period until i'm really really late, which i haven't ever had.. but i hope to conceive soon. my hubby and i are baby crazy.

i had a miscarriage once and i was 8 weeks i bleed so bad, but the key was HUGE blood clots and i was bleeding for 2 weeks before i realized anything, but the clots were very big..see the difference with mines was the baby died inside of me and would not come out so they had to do a DNC and take it out. go to the hospital it you are having a very heavy period.

Yes, i had a miscarriage at about 7-8 weeks. i didn't even know i was pregnant. it started out with extremely heavy bleeding, nauseating cramps and severe lower back pain. yes extremely large clots too. it impacted me in a way i never thought possible. because i was not expecting it, i felt a sense of almost but then it's gone. i suffered from post trumatic stress afterwards and was not myself for a while.

If it weren't for early pregnancy tests you wouldn't have known you were even pregnant and wouldn't have given this a second thought. Something was not right so it is better that this pregnancy did not continue.

I had horrible cramping and the blood was clotted badly. I was exhausted, but I didn't feel sick.
