Shark fin in Japan, Rhino horn in Africa, religion in the middle east (and the rest of the world for that matter)...all scientific evidence points in the opposite direction than what these things promise.
Horoscopes and Astrology are in the same boat...why do we believe in such silly things, even when proof says otherwise?

These things just MAY be true, as there is proof of a GREAT flood which happened, just as the Bible says it did, and when the earth dried up, bones were deposited in various places. Science and the Bible DO coincide a lot of times. The only thing that MAY be foolish is horoscopes, as ANYONE could make one up. A horoscope is a common assumption which could fit into any person's life. Most religions are false religions. But, there was only one god (God) who came back from the dead, and that was Jesus Christ. All other religions (labeled by a name of some sort, or sect that worships another "god") are not ones that promise life after death, as promised by Jesus Christ. Call it all foolish if you must, but just your question alone, tells me that you want to know the truth. Seek and Ye shall find.

Sorry but Science DOESN'T point in the opposite direction to what Religion promises. Science CAN'T prove the opposite. Religion promises COMFORT. It is the Fantatics and their followers with their preverted brand of religion that are the problem there. Anyway back to why people believe things that are proven wrong Why do you believe something that is proven opposite. Actually psycology would prove some of these things work. People believe them and WANT them to work so they actually do. Yes that means you are MAKING them work but it proves that they can. I think it was best put by the one episode of the Outer Limits though. It takes two people for the truth to exsist. One to tell it and one to listen. Why do we keep asking for the truth if we won't listen to the answer?

That they all believe in a higher form or life after here and they have what the same thing u must have????
FAITH.....nothing is ever ROCK SOLID except What u BELIEVE WILL BE.
FUNNY DIFFERENT ETHIC/CULTURES RAISED DIFFERENTLY BUT WERE TAUGHT TO STILL WORSHIP ONE WHATEVER SYMBOL IT MAY BE FOR YOUR BELIEF IS BY A SYMBOL TOO AND WHOS TO SAY OTHERS PROOF IS NOT OUT THERE FOR THERE SYMBOL ......
DONT ALWAYS BELIEVE WHAT U READ JUST BELIEVE WHAT U BELIEVE AND OPEN U MIND TO OTHERS DONT TRY TO PLAY GOD AND PUSH SOMETHING THERE CULTURE KNOWS NOT EVEN THE NAME OF.....
horoscopes and astro: guess u can make urself see something or not even if it is staring at you in the face...right?

I'm with "chryskyva" what about all those people that have seen things on the other realm...... is it just because millions of people are crazy??? what about those who knew something was going to happen before it did.? why do some lovers when one dies the other dies with in a few weeks ? why do the Hindus float in the air, don't believe it- go see it? scientific evidence ???? what do you do when your scared of something...."o that was nothing just a shadow from a tree!" you make up boring sh. it and ignore the truth. so i guess your one of those people that believe you will be nothing after you die..... you have no soul ... its just a walking talking body and that's that!!!??? wow what i nice life to have......

Science can only answer questions that pertain to things that are observable and physically proven. Science holds no answers for questions like "What is the meaning of life?" or "Why is there life?"
Science can answer how life came about, for example, but it is beyond the scope of science to answer why life came about.
Hence, people have more questions than can be answered by science alone.

Because as long as we are here on earth, we are still subject to satans doubt, and satan creates this doubt in several ways through deceit, trickery and these false phenomonons, we must truly learn to trust God and believe that Jesus Christ is our savior to turn away from all the false profits, and blasmophy.
