Poland loves America. Polish people still bring up the war and are grateful for our help. If you put an American flag somewhere about you people will go out of their way to wave and be friendly. They are very nice, friendly and hospitable people in a beautiful country.

The places that love americans are usually the poor countries, the type where everywhere you go, you get bombarded by beggar children (that they tell you not to give anything to.) but you feel so damn awful that you have to, and then they never leave you alone no matter where you go like in the phillipines and mexico.
The French are not rude to americans if you are respectful and don't expect anyone to gush over you just because you are american then it is fine, they go on about their business and ignore you. They do get impatient with people butchering their langauge and I don't blame them, if you are traveling to another country you SHOULD take the time to speak at least a little native tongue correctly. If you believe the French hate americans but still want the ambaince of Paris... Go to Quebec.
Japanese love american tourists because they love american culture many Japanese speak american and NOTHING in the world beats an up close personal view of the palace during Cherry Blossom season!

Nobody cares that much if you are American, they care if you act like a stereo typical American. Sometimes I see Americans and they are so loud because they want everyone to know they are American and they talk about how much better it is in the States (which is really offensive). I had the unfortunite incident of traveling with an American girl to Austria and I was so embarrased by how obnoxious she was. If you go anywhere just be respectful and don't try and let everyone know you are American just try and enjoy where you are and try and learn about another culture. Don't compare it. I am Canadian and I love France. I think they are extremely friendly and love it when people are interested in their culture.

Patriotism, delight, and Sacrifice. flow stay overseas for awhile and word how a lot freedom you surely do have. The U.S. has helped out diverse international places in 1000's of diverse techniques. and that i'm no longer speaking about warfare. notwithstanding, maximum folk have ancestors who've fought for, and some who've died for this u . s . a .. There are 2 those who will lay down their lives for you. One is Jesus Christ, and the different is the U.S. soldier. So......in case you do not "like it that a lot" commence lookin' for another position to stay.

central and south america are pretty friendly to americans, in general.
do travel! but when you do, be a goodwill ambassador wherever you go. don't shout about being an american (don't shout at all), treat locals with friendliness and respect and you will be treated with friendliness and respect in return. be the one that gives them a reason to love americans!

Love? France? Ever heard the expression; " Politics makes strange bedfellows? " Don't believe anything you read in the papers. And HALF of what you see.

In this day & age, not too many countries love Americans. Thankfully, not everyone hates us (yet). Where ever you choose to travel, don't flaunt being American and you'll be fine.
