Any doctor can order the semen analyasis--family doc, general pracitioner, your gyn, a reproducitive endo, but a uroligist would be able to treat any problems like varicoles, etc.

Your family doctor will send you to see a specialist. Usually you and your spouse would try for a few months, and if you don't succeed, then you would go to see a specialist, usually the OB/Gynecologist. He would look at your spouse, and if everything is okay with her, you'd be next. Usually they look at your sperm count to see if you have any sperm, and how many. Once they've counted how many sperm you have, they can tell you the results and you'll go from there.
Good Luck.

You can ask your obgyn for a referral. If the obgyn also specializes in infertility they might be able to treat him. You could also call a urologist - they deal with the male reproductive area.

You will need to go to your family doctor first, so that he can check to make sure everything with the rest of you is okay. (You'd be surprised at what could cause infertility). If he thinks it is appropriate, he/she will refer you to a fertility specialist.
Good luck!
