all i wante 2 know is abt the grounds on which xp is better, so that i can utilize its full features.

i got a new pc, it is p4(3.06), 1gb ram, 256mb pci xpress graphics card, 250 gb, asus p5gpl motherboard, asus dvd writer & i ve 3 xps installed on it,
so wat do you think abt my choice, did i go 4 a gud one, or could i have gone 4 a better one in same cost.

I think Windows XP is the best os till now that i have used. It has some key fetures.

Good choice. You're all hooked up for when Vista actually comes out. Xp is far better than '98. I loaded '98 onto my PC once, and it was like going back to the "Stone Age" What you need to do is just explore around a little to find out.

so you mean you have XP pro, XP, and XP home? Well yeah thats a good gamming PC, very good for work too. I only have a spec of memory on '98, so some differences are...not alot.So you might find this version the same, or even better than 98.
