Intense Pulse Light... (IPL) stimulates new collagen to form in the skin thereby reducing fine lines, minimizing pore size and acne scars, and increasing skin elasticity, also diminishes flushing or redness of the face associated with Rosacea, reduces brown spots, erases broken capillaries, and smoothes roughly textured skin. You will be asked to keep your face as pale as possible by avoiding sun exposure before and during your course of treatment. At your first visit you can discuss the pros and cons of treatment and a patch test can be performed to check the reaction of your skin. A week later the first full, treatment is carried out. The whole of the affected are will be treated, except in men where the beard area is avoided. There is a feeling of heat during the treatment and your face will be redder for a short while afterwards. Cooling packs can be applied afterwards. You will need to wear goggles to protect your eyes from the intense light. A course of 4 – 6 treatments at 3-4 week intervals produces the best benefit. Improvement may continue for many weeks after the course has finished. Rosacea is a relapsing condition and this treatment improves the appearance but does not cure the Rosacea. If you have active inflammatory Rosacea then this will need to be controlled with medication before you can have IPL treatment. Patients with light sensitivity should not have IPL treatment. Its effects during pregnancy are unknown and it is safer to avoid the treatment when pregnant. You should not have IPL treatment if you have any suntan however mild. You should not have IPL treatment whilst taking Roaccutane (Isotretinoin) or for 12 months afterwards.
There are also treatments you could do in your own house. using too many products formulatted with mineral oil, animal products or byproducts is a problem...using these as ingredients on your skin is not absorbing it and it stays on the top making your pores clog and maybe seeing a temporry, it is like putting celophane paper on your skin and putting the lotions or cremes on it.... also, mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin, it would be like rubbing car oil on it and exposing yourself to the sun, the sun is #1 and it is the 90% of lines on your skin.... Avoid animal products because these do no get absorbed by our skin and they come from dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc., you see there are these rendering plants (recycle for animals) that they pick all the dead animals and they put them in a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and what comes to the top is what companies use to formulate their "beauty" products... gross i know... the lipsticks, lip balms, eww ... anyway, use botanically based products for everything, skin care and in there skin care line they have a new technology called nanospheres that deliver exactly what your skin needs in your case tzone, it will deliver exactly that... also their ingredients as i said are botanicals that should not be harsh on your skin for they do not contain chemicals....i use arbonne products and they work just great, thier makeup are vegetale, their skin care products are amazing only from plants no chemicals, nature, and their antiaging line is just awesome, they are so convinced you will like their line that they have a 45 money back guarantee if you are not satisfied w/ their products you return and they give you $ back, that is why i startec to use them, because no other line does this, not estee lauder, lancome, none of them and well i had nothing to loose just the curiosity.. so i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com under shop online and i receive my products in my house with nobody bothering me nor pushing me to buy.... if i need help i can call a consultant but it would be up to you... anyway try them they are really great .....
