Yes, most rodents have a yellow tint to their teeth. As long as you are giving them plenty to chew on (all rodents are chewers, but gerbils especially) they should be fine. I would suggest lots of wood chews, cardboard tubes, and including lab blocks in their food if you only give them a seed-based diet. Lab blocks are simply those hard brown blocks, they contain all the nutrients they need and are also amazing for their teeth. You can get them from most pet stores.

Those little buggers are always drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes when you arent looking.
They continually grow their teeth and wear them down so they likely are slightly different chemically and all that from those of us who don't regrow teeth.

Yeah, I mean the food they eat is usually yellowish and they aren't able to brush.

Yes, it is healthy for gerbils to have these kind of teeth..if they change to any other color your hammy is sick!
