Yes, it matters.

At an office, you must always be professional...including the clothes you wear. How many women wear too short of a skirt to work and/or too low of a neck line that their breasts are exposed? That is very UNPROFESSIONAL!

Even walking down the street women should be careful what they wear because we can attract the "wrong" attention. (better to be safe than sorry.)

On the other hand, a lot of women or people in general are very SHALLOW! They care more for what is on the outside than they do the inside. It's really pathetic. People should be judged by their character and not if they have Gucci on.

I only care cos sometimes I envy what others wear. I feel I'm too old, or too short or too fat for to wear some stuff I would like to try. Besides, I'm usually so worried about what I look like that I don't have time to think what others have on. (I think it's the same for lots of people)

1. I don't know. I don't party.
2. Yes. Professionalism is a key to sucess.
3. I like my birthday suit.
4. I don't know. I don't get high.
5. Classy makeup is always best. I get embarassed when I see too much makeup on a woman.

Absolutely.

In our society, we have to dress a certain way to portray an image... professionalism at the office. fun at the party. women want to look great so they wear make up.

Yes, the way you dress portrays your behavior in certain situations. You wouldn't dress the same going to a bar as you would at the office.

Yes definately. It seems you have to be a chosen way to be accepted at all. And if you dress differently, don't worry! They have catagories for those styles too! They aren't always respected but hey you are part of something no?

I definitely think so. It's all about first impressions and looking like you care enough about yourself to take the time to look (and smell) nice. And why not? It makes you feel good too!

People don't really anymore. If it was up to me people would dress like they did in the 1920's to 1950's.

i don't....but, my boss called me in one day and complained about my casual dress for friday...he thought it was too casual (jeans, button-down shirt and birkenstocks)...he thought i needed to dress a little more business like, although others in our office and company dress alot more casual than i did on that day....
