I like both
JCrew reminds me of New England college kids or people who holiday in the Hamptons
Gap I love their colors they remind me of dress down Fridays at work or just hanging out for the weekend

i have a pair of gap and j. crew jeans i like the gap ones better because the j. crew ones have holes and ripes in them from my own doing.
