I don't have a fear of them, but I don't like them either.
One night I woke up and saw a shadow cross by my alarm clock (it gives off a faint light). By the time I got up and turned on a light, this huge (I mean HUGE) hairy spider was on my bed. I went to grab paper towels, no way I was touching that thing with just a tissue, and by the time I got back I saw the spider disappearing behind the bed.
I pulled the bed out and looked everywhere. Never found that huge freakin' thing. I didn't sleep in my bed for 2 nights!

That's easy. I live in the country. One morning I was abot 7 months pregnant with my daughter and I walked outside to get the morning paper. I use the same route every morning. There are two trees, one on either side of my mailbox. Well I always walked between the trees to get to my paper, never having a problem before. I was half awake and walked between the trees and I walked straight into a spider web..Naturally I FREAKED..especially when I saw a GIANT yellow and black spider on my houseshoe. I kicked my shoe off screaming and running back to the house and scared the hell out of myself and my husband. Looking back I laugh wondering what it would have looked like for a huge pregnant woman screaming at the top of her lungs, and jumping around for nothing except a harmless Orb spider!!( I did my research and moved the mailbox!)

lived contained in the azores and had backyard spiders (enormous , bushy, yet "harmless" HA) thrown on me at a lengthy time period 2-4 by bratty boyz. So , i have had a hell of a time eliminating this phobia...yet no longer afraid almost as a lot as I once became. I were given a tat on my decrease decrease back/hips/butt of an enormous spider information superhighway reason it is quite the in basic terms aspect i have ever been frightened of. i'm nevertheless no longer comfortable comfortable with them...yet i will now genuinely camp on the floor in aspects the position tarantulas are (waiting , lurking, waiting to pounce and scare the holy hell out of me :) ...that couldn't in any respect were achievable many years in the past. i did not even like using by (heavily ...lmao)...arizona , west tx, or nevada.

I'm only afraid of spiders sometimes...which is kind of weird lol
sometimes I see a spider and I think "hey cute spider...look at its fuzzy wittle faangs!!" and other times I feel like screaming and running in the opposite direction...it also depends on the spider. If I know it wont hurt me or if I see that kind of spider a lot I'm cool with it. Like daddy longlegs and these little brown spiders that crawl around outside.
My worst experience? I was helping my friend clean and i picked up a folded sock. When I unfolded it, it ripped open a sac of baby spiders and they went crawling everywhere! I dropped the sock and ran. That's one of the times that I WAS afraid of spiders lol eeew I'm still afraid to touch stuff at her house!!

THE SPIDER AND THE FLY
By Nanker/ Phelge/M. Jagger/K. Richards
Sittin' thinkin' sinkin' drinkin'
Wondering what I'd do when I'm through tonight
Smoking moping, maybe just hopin'
Some little girl will pass on by
Don't wanna be alone but I love my girl at home
I remember what she said
She said, "My, my, my don't tell lies, keep fidelity in your head
My my my, don't tell lies. When you're done you should go to bed
Don't say hi, like a spider to a fly
Jump right ahead and you're dead"
Sit up, fed up, low down go round
Down to the bar at the place I'm at
Sitting drinking, supereficially thinking
About the rinsed-out blonde on my left
Then I said, "hi" like a spider to a fly
Remebering what my little girl said
She was common, flirty, she looked about thirty
I would have run away but I was on my own
She told me later she's a machine operator
She said she liked the way I held the microphone
I said my, my, like the spider to the fly
Jump right ahead in my web

Yes! Very Afraid. When I was younger I saw a spider under my bed, still close enough to smash it. So I got my shoe or whatever was close and got it......and all these little babies that were on her back scrammed off, there were like a hundred tiny black bugs, scared the Sh*t out of me, Grosses thing ever. That was the beginning of my fear.

Yes. When I woke up and there was a spider crawling up my arm and that was at night i thought some one was in my bed with me. I screamed so loud that the neighbors lights came on and my mom almost fell down the stairs coming to find out what was wrong.

YES! I am Terrified of them! I was working in Florida at a McDonald's at the drive in window one day and one climbed through the window it was huge! I climbed up my arm and I screamed and threw it off I couldn't go near the drive trough window for like 3 days after that. Ugh Yucky spiders. I was also bit by one on the leg and I could bearly walk for 3 months, that sucked too.

Yes.
OK, the worst:
My mom & I were walking from the neighbors to our house and she was ahead of me. The next think I knew she started screaming. I ran up to her and she told me that she had walked into a spider web and the spider crawled up her nose. She never did find it...

I dislike spiders. I pulled my sheet back to get in bed once and a spider was in it. Not as bad as the time I did that and a mouse ran out. Yes, I check my bed every night. My dad almost lost his finger to a brown recluse once. We have scorpions in our house now.
