Plant nothing.You need to train him that you don't want him to do this...ask the dog whisper and see what he says.

My husband insists that he stopped the dogs from digging up the bulbs and flowers by using their feces in the planting holes. But, I would say that teaching the dog not to do it Cesar's Way was more effective :)

Society garlic seems to work on most dogs. They hate the smell. They don't look too bad either.
