No, if they are agressive they are probably also possesive. In some cultures possesive-ness is the norm. (if someone is way too possesive it's only gonna get worse, get out sooner than later)
But in a good healthy relationship, it's 50-50 and sometime 60-40 and vice versa.

No not really....I mean i guess it really depends on how aggressive he is...I personally would fight any guy who Insults my girlfriend or tries to hurt her in any way...but if a guy looks at her or tries to pick her up in a bar without knowing she has a boyfriend I don't get mad cuz i know she is with me and in a way its like a compliment...She is hot..and being a guy myself I know that men are gonna want her...but if he is possesive to the point where he wont let you have a life then you should dump him...and any girl that likes being possesed has no sense of self and she is super insecure....wanting a man to control your life and treat you like an object rather then a woman is just pathetic.

No, only the jerks. It's normal to have a little concern, but possesiveness is not normal.

I think it works for both genders not just the guys.
Though not all are. It's a trust/ insecurity issue, mostly.
I've known several couples who can't get a lucky break having a girls' night out without being interrupted by a call from their spouses every 5 minutes!

No, just possessive men. It's normal for guys to be protective but when it crosses the line into treating you as his object or trying to control you, it's time to move on.

Everyone is possessive to some degree... once you have something good and rewarding, something inside you says, "PROTECT" and you can't help but become possessive. Their is good possessiveness and bad... when being possessive becomes controlling... then it's time to re-evaluate the relationship.
Don't be another statistic...

naturally, men want to be possessive in a relationship. there is, of course, a line to be drawn so that men aren't abusive.
