How come the left makes false compassion's when talking about things they don't like?

For example
Gitmo is a Natzi Death Camp - - -the only people to die at club gitmo commiteed suicide. the Nazis murdered millions of innocent people in their death camps. Plus the people in club Gitmo were taken from the battle field and the people in the nazi camps were largly taken from their homes.

I also failed to mention that the people accused of missdeeds were removed and drummed out of the Military. Nazi terror was state sponsored.

It's human nature. People respond more to bombastic exaggerations than reasoned analysis. It also makes it easy to portray political opponents as evil, which makes it easier to mobilize people against those opponents.

Club GTMO...I've heard that somewhere before...Oh, yeah, Rush Limbaugh. It is wonderful that you can express your own opinions instead of speaking those of others. As an aside, those that committed suicide did so after Bill O'Reilly visited.

Per your email; I would love to answer a question that I had adequate information to derive from. However, no matter how hard you and your right friends try to, you can not label me and lump me into one specific group. I am a free thinker. I have never compared GTMO to a concentration camp, so I can not answer your question as to why the "left" does. I do have a problem with detainees being held without cause. Updated 06/09/06, this is what needs to be done more often.
"Detainee Administrative Review Definition/purpose: Annual review to determine the need to continue the detention of an enemy combatant. The review includes an assessment of whether the enemy combatant poses a threat to the United States or its allies in the ongoing armed conflict against terrorist such as al Qaeda and its affiliates and supporters and whether there are other factors bearing on the need for continued detention (e.g., intelligence value). Based on that assessment, a review board will recommend whether an individual should be released, transferred or continue to be detained. This process will help ensure no one is detained any longer than is warranted, and that no one is released who remains a threat to our nation’s security."

I'm a moderate (recovering Republican, actually) and I'm just as sick of the way the GOP misrepresents things.

I favor the war against terrorism ... and also Gitmo and the other facilities around the world being used to house imprisoned terrorists.

But, to blame liberal rhetoric for everything is silly!

Interesting that you use the term "Club Gitmo" to attack liberals for making false comparisons. Referring to a political prison where people commit suicide as a "club" is a bit of a false comparison, dontcha think?

As to your spelling, it DOES matter. You are representing a position held by other people (the right), and I'm sure they care how you represent them.

There are extremest on both sides. I'm pretty much surrounded by liberals and I've never heard one make the comparison. So, I'm guessing you are talking about one person or one group of people. Liberals are a big group. It's like saying all Conservatives think Gay people should die. There are some, but I'm guessing it is not the majority. ;)

The Liberals have one thing in mind, "Get control of government" how they do it isnt important. Whether they divide the country, attack the president they don't care they just want power. I especially found it funny when many took the easy position on immigration they wanted to go easy on millions of illegal immigrants. Fact is they broke the laws and shouwl be punished and now American citizens are paying for it in ways like taxes and crime. They did that not becasue they care about these people but becasue they want the minority vote, simple as that!
