No, it just means that you are a true Canuck - (as in Canadian!). It's good to have an appreciation for your national teams. I would love the leafs to win the Stanley Cup, but since we all know that that isn't happening any time soon, I tend to cheer for any Canadian team that makes the playoffs.

Only if the Canucks and Oilers are playing against each other. I cheered for the Oilers after the Canucks were out of the playoffs.

Yes, I know Canadians have this STUPID thing of cheering for the last Canadian team left in the playoffs. But I am sorry, you don't cheer for Edmonchuk. They pounded us throughout the '80s (I mean, who didn't want to smack that smug grin off Slats' face?), have enough Cups to last a lifetime and are our division rivals!
It's like those idiots cheering for Calgary in '04 in town here. Hello? they knocked the Nux out in a game 7 OT at home. Sorry, that's just wrong to cheer for a team that causes you that much pain and heartache.
I like the Eastern mentality, no way a Ranger fan will cheer for the Isles, Devils, Flyers or B's ever...ditto "real" Make Belief fans cheering for the Habs.

I am guessing you mean the Stanley Cup and I thought most of Canada was cheering on the Oilers, just because Canada thinks they are supposed to have the Cup. Well you get it up there in the Hall of Fame most of the year so SHARE it.

I didn't understand ppl in Vancouver cheering for the Oil during the finals. Canadian pride my ***, we spend the whole year hating those guys as they are division rivals, AND they took our playoff spot, then we have to cheer for them just cuz they're a team from Canada? Gimme a break.
Plus, Edmonton has Raffi Torres...man, I HATE that guy...not for his play, not for sth he's said. Just his face pisses me off. So what if I have anger management problems, wanna fight or sth!?!?!

yeah that's odd ,if the leafs don't win then i don't want any body to win ,as far as I'm concerned the season is over.Why would you want your enemy to win when you hate them so much.Habs ,Sens,Flyer's,Buffalo all can BURN in hell. GO LEAFS GO
