When I first watched a good game at Gingers Ale house in chicago and I found myself glued to the screen and had to go get a ball and learn to kick it about

soccer is the most athletic of all sports it takes true stamina to play so hard for so long noone realizes the ammount of strength an endurance it takes to play well.
we all have opinions but soccer is a great game anyway you look at it millions of fans that are the most deticated and outrageously obsessive about the sport say so.

first, two hurricane-devestated states in america are absolutly no comaparision to italy and france and secondly how many other games or anything else in the world is seen by 1 billion people around the world and over 10 million people in the US.

I've known forever.Because it is the worlds sport.American sport is great if you can take the fact that a 60 minute game lasts for 180 minutes.I guess thats to let their audience have chance to waddle into their kitchen for another bag of supersize nacho's.

i've always loved watching the world cup. Americans don't like soccer cause they so suck at it and thats why they even changed the name to soccer the only country that calls it that , by the way. ignorant punks!

I love football and played it for as long as I can remember. To believe that is the best game in the world is silly Many people like other games and is as important to them as important as football is to us. Don't act like many in my country do, hating football, our football. I said silly, but it is more than silliness, is ignorance.

I've always known... played myself when I was younger. It is the sport of Champions and of the World. What other sport can incite such reaction from nations worldwide? Not football (American), not baseball, not hockey.

Probably this year when i first started watching the World Cup. You need the skizzles (skills lol) and also, the sportsmanship. . .sometimes it's not apparent, but that's okay. . . .But it is a "beautiful game" as everyone calls it.
