She is a grown woman, and true love should over come any obstacles. If she truly loves you, maybe she should look into standing up for what SHE believes in...not just what her parents have taught her. There are a million religions out there, who is to say what is right or wrong. I would never give my love up for anyone or anything... he is the only person who makes me feel complete. People can move on....but sometimes, when something is meant to be and you prevent it from being...life can be miserable.

If you really Love her & respect her ability to make the best for herself, then be glad that you have had a woman to Love and that she has found happiness, armed with the knowledge that you know the type of character makes you feel this way.

Yor criterion is not a mystery. Settle for no less than this typw of character.

Meanwhile rid yourself of those feeling of remorse, anger, betrayal, and despair. Give her some space. let her be happy.
pamper yourself. Take yourself to breakfast. pray for guidance.

if her parents consent to the two of you marrying I do not see what the problem is...but if she is going to be preoccupied with another life, I am afraid to say you should move on; despite the fact that you two are madly in love...

She may think she can, but she is going to be very unhappy as a result, try to talk her out of it. Elope with her to a different country or state.
