I work at a supermarket and im am 18 yrs old, the first week i worked there i didnt get paid because the said they didnt have all my "info" so they said if i ever quit or dont work for a couple weeks that it would catch up with me and i would get it.. i asked off for a month and campe back expecting 2 checks one for the last week i worked and the other from the first week i worked and i only got one.. and now they say i cant have it unless i have all my check stubs and prove that i didnt get it.. so now im out like 250$ what can i do
?

Contact your local National Labor Relations Board. Explain your story to them. They should be able to help you.

First off did you fill out any employee tax forms?
Second how often are you suppose to get paid?

Answer these questions first and then i will help you.

Get all of your bank statements and any other supporting documents with you and go talk to the manager. Insist to them that you are right (and explain clearly why you are right). If they still do not pay you, tell them you will report them. Good luck!
