i don't think it's ugly. i think it's really pretty actually. it's just a little bit of a sad name for me too-- i know a girl named nadia who died. >:'(
but she was gorgeous, and nadia is a beautiful name.

Yeah. Nadia was the name of Sydney Bristows sister on the tv show Alias. I really like Alias and Nadia was a great character.

I prefer the reverse of it - Aidan - a classic Irish name. That's why my son is called that (I am Irish).
