Sounds like you have pink undertones. Look for foundations that are marked "cool" or even "neutral". "Warm" foundation colors are for yellow undertones. Revlon is good - the type of foundation depends upon the type of skin you have - whether it be dry, combo or oily and also the look you're going for...

If your skin is sort of reddish, especially in the cheek and cheek bone area, then you might suffer from rosacea. Ask a dermatologist first. Now, if you have minor acne, a common foundation might make it worse, because of all the chemicals in it. I would say go with a mineral powdered foundation like Bare Minerals, from Bare Escentuals. It's much healthier for your skin because it's natural, and it doesn't dry out the skin, it might even help improve your complexion. It's about $60. but you can get it for two payments of $30 and it lasts a long time. It includes the foundation, brushes, and sealer, which is a translucent powder that seals the foundation in the skin. the best part is you don't even look like you're wearing make up.People with rosacea and acne swear by it. Is this looking too much like advertisement? :) Well, i just really like the product. Hope this helps.

See a dermatologist. The redness could be a more complicated skin condition. Regular micro-dermabrasion can help clear your acne, soften your skin, and even the tone. Even going to the Clinique counter at your local mall for a free facial -they will pick out just the right thing for your skin, but it may cost a little more than you are used to. Try visiting a local beauty college. The people there are better trained than you might think, and regular facials are a great price (and soooo relaxing!).

I would suggest using c-trhru-u beautifying sheer tint in Mark 1 by mark. It is a great foundation that evens out your skin tone while it moisturizes and it has SPF 15. I am an Avon and mark representative and you can email me with ANY questions. You should also check out the mark and Avon website they have many more great makeup products for sensative skin.

I have simiar skin and most make-up lines do not run "pale" enough for my natural non-tan skin...L'oreal "true match" goes on well, but I have to be very careful to take it of with cleanser and not wear it to long because it can cause pimples. My skin can tolerate Almay fondation well but it doesn't look as good.

Try Bare Escentuals Mineral makeup - its awesome. Their multi-tasking makeup is the greatest. Shop for it on-line at www.QVC.com (discounted) or at www.bareescentuals.com

Its not a liquid (globby) makeup - its powder - it's weightless on your face.

Most of their makeup has an SPF of 15. Try it - you'll love it. You pay alittle more but it's way better than anything you can buy in a store.

Because you have red Try to find a cover-up with green tones, it "cancels" out the red. I have rosacea, and I use a green cover-up for my really bad spots and it doesn't' look so bad. I think I got mine from Garden Botanicals.
