I hate to sound negative but I personally do not think there will ever be peace in that region. The main reason: people there will always fight over land and oil. They are very strong-minded people and refuse to compromise. If you think there will one day be peace there please convince me because I am somewhat a pessimist on this subject and think the world is very close to World War 3

Unfortunately not. It is prophecy that there can never be peace in that region. Also there is rampant religious intolerance and hatred coming from all sides in that conflict, add to that the disparity between rich and poor and also the lack of proper education due to that poverty and you get exactly what you have right now.

Read the Bible.

Isaac and Ishmael
These two men are the fathers of the two main religions in the Middle East and God said that they will fight forever.

Here is where God states this to Hagar the mother of Ishmael in Genesis:

9 Then the angel of the LORD told her, "Go back to your mistress and submit to her."

10 The angel added, "I will so increase your descendants that they will be too numerous to count."

11 The angel of the LORD also said to her:
"You are now with child
and you will have a son.
You shall name him Ishmael,
for the LORD has heard of your misery.

12 He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
and everyone's hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
toward all his brothers."

Yeah, after a major disaster, like every other major conflict (see WWII...)

When people see the alternative to blind hatred, they'll find some way to reinterpret their religion to support peace and co-existence.

In the meantime we still have to listen to this crap justifying war...

peace would be a dreaaamm...but thats all it'll ever be, world peace is like saying you have to **** a ton of people in order to be a virgin, i dont think there will ever be peace cause they are so uncivilized and close minded...they hate us cause we're free and they arent...why dont they just make themselves free? why do we have to interfere...let them mind their own buissness, we shouldnt have to send innocent people who risk their lives and get killed for no reason...its not our problem, its not our country...we believe in TOALLY differnt things...let them handle it and stop killing innocent people...are you with me?!

I think one day...a LONG time from now, when people can set aside their differences and their greed. THEN we can have peace.

Untill then, who knows?
