Really nice job but I'd leave out the "negotiable" as that implies you'll settle for less when most families would accept your rates as is (your rates are very fair). That word may cause some to take advantage of your generosity.

If a family really needs to negotiate, then they'll ask.

Just be careful, in my experience with many businesses, the customers that want to pay the least are often the most demanding. Sometimes cheap is worth walking away from.

Good luck. Hope you make a ton of cash.

Let your client initiate that, if your willing.

Maybe this will give you some useful ideas. You decide.

In what school did you take the class? Do not list the name of the school, just if it was JR High, middle school, etc... If the course is accredited by the Red Cross (or similar organization) list the organization.

Take out the "still negotiable" reference. If you leave it in, the first thing most people will do is offer you less. If you do not believe you are worth $6.00 per hour, then do not ask for that.

How will you get to/from the job? Will your parents drive you or do you take public transportation. What hours are you available? Do you have to be home by 10pm, 11pm??? Earlier, later?

The Red Cross has brochures and a website with Babysitting information. They not only include information about caring for children, they also include information about keeping yourself safe. Please check this information at your local library or Red Cross office.

Nice resume, especially for an almost 15 year old! Can I suggest you raise the price one or two dollars, only if you are required to do some light cleaning or cooking. If you think about it and break it down, you would be doing a lot of different work for little or no monetary compensation. If you are ok with this, then keep resume as it is.

It's a nice flyer! Only concern I have is your offer to do "simple house work".....when the children are asleep. I think some client's might try to load you up on doing many things besides babysitting. You should make it clear that you are offering babysitting services, only, although you may be willing to do a few INCIDENTAL household chores, so long as it does not detract from your primary responsibility of babysitting. Good luck.

Brooke, that is excellent!! I am very impressed. The only thing I might add is information about transportation. Do you expect the family to pick you up or will you be driven by your family?

Seriously excellent work!
