Ladies, what about you? Are you dating a single father, and the crazy ex-wife is trying to suck you guys dry?

I married my husband and he has a little girl when we started dating she was 4 she in now 11 (god time flys) anyway, I happily help with his daughter I love her like my own (and I have 1 with my husband and another on the way) His daughter lived with us for 3 years while her mother went through some rough stuff. Her mother and I are actually really good friends and get along great, we hang out together, she has babysat my daughter for me overnight a couple times and I watch her newborn son for her as well. It might sound weird but why hate her? They were not together when we started dating and they will not be together again, the only thing holding them together is their daughter. No don't get me wrong we have our moments where we argue and disagree and don't speak but that usually only last about 2 weeks and is only about 1 time a year if that. So don't think you are being "suckered in" I look at it as I have a whole new family. I love it! My daughter has 3 grandma's and 2 extra great grandma's! They all love her to death!

Many people think that way and I think by thinking like that, you really limit yourself to meet the "one". Just imagine that there is a woman out there that is perfect for you. You can be happy for the rest of your life, but she has kid/kids. Would you trade her for a single woman that will make your life a living hell?

I only date single mothers if they have a job and are self supported

Well I look at it this way. If you are with someone and you love them you should love them as they are. That means with or without kids. Most women who have x's that do not pay for their children are not to blame. They are not in control of what the deadbeat does. If you love that person and she/he has children that is part of the package and you must take it for what it is. That is if you love that person.

It probably feels just as bad to pay your ex "child support" and have her spend the money on her new lazy nogood boyfriend!
