Most gays have no ill feelings toward their gender opposites. Would you have sex with some just to prove you don't hate them? The majority of men who chase after Trans-girls are married and claim to be straight, there called admirers. The last thing most gay men are interested in, is anyone in a skirt.
If straight people took the time to meet and talk to gay men, they would find the vast majority are macho and indistinguishable from straights. There are gays,men and women fighting in Iraq as I write this. I did my time in Nam back in 69. The VA even recognizes GID and supplies all treatments and services needed less SRS (gender reassignment surgery).

I have never met a gay man who hates women. And I'll assume that you're talking about drag queens, because most gay men are not what you would call "effeminate". Drag, plain and simple, is a fun hobby that can also help bring in some money if you're any good at it. For some men who otherwise might not be exactly "fabulous", or maybe who aren't into theatre, it allows for a persona that might have personality traits you feel you lack in.

Many gay men don't say that. It's just the one's who are around women who hate gays. But in most cases women love to have gay men around them. For fashion advice to even tips on makeup.

you must not personally know anyone gay/lesbian. that's a stereotype! the gay men that I know don't "hate" women...they are just not sexually attracted to them. the opposite is true for lesbians. I don't hate men....I have male friends. I just don't want to sleep with them.
and not all gay men "act" like women. are you talking about drag queens? there are masculine gay men and feminine lesbians as well.
just as there are some awfully feminine straight men and masculine straight women that I have met....

Once again - all gay men do not hate women - my best friend is a woman.
All gay men do not try and 'act like women' - mostly they are just themselves and you judge them as acting like a woman.

First ALL gay men do not hate women. Probably a very few hate women. You must be around a couple individuals that don't liek them. I love women and have many women friends as do most gay men.
So do presume that all gay hate women. We don't, we just don't want to have sex with them.

I'm a lesbian, I dress tomboyish, and I don't hate men. I have plenty of guy friends. It's not about trying to "act" like a man or a woman, for me it's about being comfortable with who I am. Don't make a stereotype about people you don't know.

back up brother, no gay man ever said they hated women, that's your little fantasy. we love women we have tons of girlfriends we just don't want to have sex with them. and we're not "acting" like anything we just are. it's stright men who are posers because you don't have the balls to just drop it and be real, and thats why your girlfriends would rather hang with the queens
