Have you ever heard a cuckoo making sounds like a car engine...?

....that would refuse to start up :)

I recently discovered that's how she actually begins tuning up her voice in the very beginning, before continuing with her famous songs! It was the crack of dawn...most of the world yet not awakened...when I suddenly got a glimpse of hers conducting those inharmonic rituals :)

Do you have a similar incident to add to this?

No but I have heard a song thrush sounding like a CAR ALARM!!
