It is for laundry and it helps with whites .Where can you purchase it?Tryed walmart they don't sell that help!I Asked a question on here how to get your whites white.Seen a bunch of answers on using Bluing.

I would check the dollar stores-- all of them. The Dollar General has bluing in OKCY--It comes in a bottle-- Vermont Store catalog has it, too.
For a school science project-- a piece of coal, dripped with a bit of bluing and I think salt-- makes crystals-- need to be in a dark environment.

You can get it at grocery stores normally. It's something people use to keep whites from yellowing, kinda like using tonerr when you dye your hair blonde. Just make sure to follow the directions well, if not, you can wind up with whites that are blue.

I have always gotten it at walmart. I used to use it on my horses mane and tail.
