Gee I never thought of Popeye as deformed--just differently bodied. He does have a weird voice, though. The old Robin Williams movie of Popeye is strange and wonderful. If you haven't seen it, do so. Its like being on a 60's head trip, which I imagine the cast and crew were on while filming, come to think of it.

No, he was a sweet husband that would defend his women from huge big muscle bond dudes and the spinach was his power and dudes now need to eat it so they won't be such punks and use guns.
