I have a car of which i have fondly called DAISY ... and a pair of longhaired goat fur cushions called ANT AND DEC .. !!
I think i should go out more !! haha !!

I sadly do...my first car was a Volkswagen-Fox and I named it Foxy-Lady, well it actually all started with my friends calling me Foxy Lady as I'd turn up at their house in my baby-blue car with mags even my boyfriend got addicted to its name.....I think it's a girly kind of thing and guys love it!
I like that you've nick-named your fur cushions Ant and Dec, you go girl!!.

I think it starts with giving one's first stuffed toy a name...teehee. I too have named my car but will not post what I call it here. I've had pet rocks in the past, as well as gadgits and gizmos that I didn't otherwise know what to call or that I just didn't like calling by their proper name - like the toilet bowl brush - nasty thing that it is, I call it Hazel. Hope I haven't just offended anyone.

I do actually! My car's called meg (A Meganne you see), I have a rolling pin called Annie because it was a present from someone called Annie for a joke (When i got married) She told me to call it after her and so i did! Finally i have a german jack (For my car) called Dieter because i didn't know how to say jack in german and the guy who gave it to me insisted on the name Dieter. It was his name (Little did i know at the time. I thought i'd learnt a german word) so it remained Dieter!!!

oh! i name everything.
my cars are Scaramouche and Rumplestilskin
i've named every musical insturment i've ever played.
i've named trashcans, stop signs, and benches.
I believe inanimate things should definately have names!
