Depends on who with....
With teens , issues like fashion,sports and latest gadgets comes in handy.
however with adults, its a whole different rule....
It helps to know their likes and dislikes...
one thing that does seem to help is chatting about the funny things children seem to do and say....
If you are chatting with say a doctor, discussing about medical ethics can break the ice.However the same approach can not be used when chatting with a professional snooker player for example.
It all depends on who,where and when!!!

Totally depends on your test. I would say philosophy of life. Psychology of man kind. It is fascinating to feel philosophy behind almost everything and to follow human Psychology.

definately funny t.v. advertisements or toys you always wanted/ had as children. - nostalgia is a funny thing when there are people of mixed ages taking part - theres always a few memories that make you feel really old or really young!
