Usually an upset stomach is related to the acids not settling in your stomach. It's like the acid is bubbling up in your stomach, causing cramping, stomach ache, agita or acid reflux. The best way to help a upset stomach is to lie down to ease the acids in your stomach, or take a little bit of baking soda, water and/or without a little lemon juice, to let the gas out.

It can mean almost anything...

You could have a food allergy or disease like Celiac (although I'm doubting that you'd only get an upset stomach). You might have eaten too much. Someone could've punched you in the stomach. You could be car sick or have been in the sun too long. Food poisoning. Ate something past it's date...

You're way too vague. What sort of stomach ache? Cramps? Bloating? I know that when that happens to me I'm either usually having my period or I ate something that contained traces of meat or was cooked with meat (I'm a vegetarian).

It could be for many different reasons, it depends what it feels like. My tum feels bad when I eat too much, eaten something bad, when I'm unwell, drink too much booze, dontated blood and many other reasons. If it's a bit higher up it could be heartburn maybe. Try Rennie or Tums. Have a look at www.webMD.com, it's an American site but gives you a list of symptoms for you to click on. Hope I helped x

It could mean anything from you need food, you're nervous, have a virus, ulcer, tumor, etc. If it happens each day, see a doctor. If you get them every so often, see what else is going on in your life when you get the pains and go from there.
