Yes its the loveliest feeling, i once saw a gold outline of someone sitting by my bed and felt SO peaceful just like you explained, i was worrying about college and i suddenly had the answer. Also i was having an asthma attack last year it got very bad and was about to phone an ambulance when i felt a warm hand on the back of my head, i crumpled and lay down. Then i felt as though i was floating and sensed 3 people around me willing me to get better. My breathing eased and I came back to full awareness 100% better to hear the door closing and footsteps walking away, it has changed my whole belief system. Things still happen and sometimes i get scared, i wish i didnt because i know i would experience more. Arent we lucky though?

I feel spirits all the time. They are definitely out there. You had a really good experience, obviously with a very kind, loving, spirit. There are bad ones too, though, which do not give you such a warm, fuzzy feeling...more like a panicky, can't-breathe feeling. Spirits are out there for different reasons, though, and it may just be that the particular one you experienced, especially since you felt it twice, far apart in time, was trying to help you, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. Don't feel like you are strange because of this; I have several family members and friends who feel spirits as well, and sometimes see them, which I do as well, and only those who are in touch with themselves spiritually as well as the spiritual realm and auras can feel it. But there are many, many more people out there that know exactly what you are talking about.

Yes, I've had several experiences:
When I was 2-3 years old I used to play with an 'imaginary friend', when I was 6 years old, my mum & I were sitting looking at old family photos when I jumped up and said - that's Mooncat (the name of my imaginary friend), it turned out it was my Great Great Aunt.
When I was 11-12 years old, my Grandad died. A few days after the funeral I felt a prescene sit on the edge of my bed - assuming this was my Grandad.
Between the ages of 13-17 years old, I used to see my brothers & sisters that my mother had miscarried throughout my life (the Doctors didn't know what was wrong with her for many years, she had about 13 miscarriages).
Since I was 19 years old I've had all manner of spirits communicating in various ways with me. I've been informed in the past that it's what I'm meant to see/feel etc.
It's up to the individual to have their own beliefs about what happens after you've died/passed on etc... This is just my belief.

Yes many times, what you have felt may have nothing to do with spirit at all, however it could also mean a loved one, family member is trying to let you know they are OK, next time it happens speak out and ask if someone is there i know you may feel silly, and others reading this will laugh, but sometimes it works, and there is nothing to be afraid of.
Love & Peace

Not directly, but my mother " experienced " my late brother's presence on the 1st anniversary of his death in 1973.
& I DID have a confusing dream where a girl that I met at Summer Camp in the 80's appeared to me, dressed in white / off - white clothing in a white room with white / pale drop - cloths on the furniture. She then told me that I wouldn't hear from her or see her anymore. Shortly thereafter I found out that she died in an automobile accident, just about the same time that I had my dream. Whether she was actually communicating to me from the other side, or it was a coincidence, I can't say for sure.

The next morning I woke up to find my arms badly bruised and that is the God honest truth.

Oh yeah. My little brother died last November in the war. Needless, to say, life has been rough, and I never truly got to say "good bye". Yet, upon visiting his grave for the first time, I just "talked" to him and told him to visit me sometime, that he knew I believed in the after life. I didn't expect much to come of it. Yet, that night, I was listening to the radio and heard Filter's "Take A Picture" come on, and I knew it was from him, by the feeling I got from it and it made me smile and feel very content. It was one of the best feelings I had ever felt. I knew he was fine, and I knew he was still "around" in a sense.
That song, as you probably know, was in the movie "Little Nicky" when he first gets to heaven and is laying in the field of flowers. That song was special to me and my brother because everytime we heard it, he would always say "Is it Dad's birthday?" just like Adam Sandler did in the movie, and he only did it when I was with him.

Oh yes, quite frequently. Actually spirits and angels are among us quite frequently we are just too busy to notice the suttle signs. Ever been meditating and suddenly your face starts itching or your shoulder or something? That is a spirit around you. Anyway, Samhain (Halloween) is a good time for contacting the dead as well. I have been able to communicate with a couple of dead people from my life that I didn't get to say good-bye to before they passed on during this holiday.

My Grandad, I was feeling very stressed out at the time. It felt like a hand on my back, just slight pressure. But a reassuring calming gesture. Not scary or intrusive.
In the split second I realised no one was behind me I also noticed that a robin was singing outside. This was my Grandad's favourite bird.

I know it's weird for some people, but yes, I have - many times - and it is absolutely amazing. Well, saying that, I would not want to open myself up to feel all presences. My dad died 6 years ago and after that we experience his presence quite often, especially at specific times. It is very comforting, knowing he's around. When I visit my mum, we even smell his tabacco (cherry flavoured) sometimes. There are obviously people who say that you create those thoughts, because you want to comfort yourself and that it's just in your imagination, but I tend to differ. I've always been quite sensitive, but as I said, I don't invite other presences, because you might end up with spirits that you actually don't want around. As long as you feel safe and comfortable, enjoy!
