By watching the news it seams to me the Bush administration is saying that Syria and Iran are involved in funding this terrorist group.

My husband and I discussed that just this morning. I'm not sure we will get involved in it, not even sure if we should.
I personally find it interesting that so many countries are blasting Israel for their handing of this matter. Israel does NOT play around. They have never had much patience for bargaining or negotiationg with terrorists or whatever. So why is everyone surprised that they went straight to the guns for this one?

Unfortunately, for many reasons,
we are so deep into this 'conflict',
there is no walking away from it.
Our involvement goes back to after
WWII and it will be a very difficult one
to end in any way.

yes. america feels that the lebanese government is a puppet government controlled by the syrians and iranians. since bush really doesn't like the syrians and iranians, he therefore doesn't like the lebanese. since israel is in conflict with the lebanese, american will support israel.
