Ben really did hit upon something. Studies have shown that the buildup and release associated with orgasm does have a positive effect on cramping associated with the monthly period. The orgasmic response and muscle contractions associated with it, allow the muscles to work the excess fluid out of the area helping to relieve the bloating and the contractions of the uterus help with the cramping feeling. It sort of short circuits everything. Good luck and feel better soon!!

So far all the ladies gave you great tips. I suggest you try them out. Lie down put a pillow under your stomach. Open a window if its too cold partially opened. Get a blanket. If you have a cat or dog have them snuggle next to you. This helps me when I don't have medication. Drink warm liquids. If you get diarrhea drink plenty of room temperature water. And please eat something. Midol or Advil won't hurt.

If you dont like taking motrin/midol or any pills for that matter, use a heating pad. that always work for me and the pain ceases longer.

That's only because you have no idea what REAL pain is like. It's just a minor twinge that you are feeling and it goes away. Exercise (walk about 4-5 miles) will help. Take an Advil. Occupy your mind with other things. You'll be fine!

Okay, there is no pain like that. Use a heating pad. Heat is the best way to relieve cramps.

Fill the bath tub with as hot of water as you can stand and sit in it for about 10 minutes. try those thermal heat packs for cramps as well. May wanna have your parents take you to a doctor to see if they can help.

This sounds really funny, but making a tea out of catnip helps to ease menstral cramps.
